Mashing ESC key should behave like Backspace for returning to task list#161

Everything in Slash feels similar to a modal, imho. Since every screen is a full transition. One use case that I’ve found myself naturally trying to invoke is that Esc should return me to the default view (task list?) similar to mashing Backspace.

Except I would expect ESC to work when focused on an input, where Backspace should be used for editing, and likely prompt me before transitioning, if I could lose work.

@Slash.ta8wdzy5 - The escape key does work if you’re ‘focused’ on the Slash app, but if you’re in focus mode then you’re likely ‘focused’ on another app, and we can’t takeover the escape key globally.

How about a global shortcut to exit focus mode back to the list instead?

Command + Option + L to return to your list page?

Just pushed the code for that shortcut. It will be live in the coming week :)
