Lifetime Subscription#234

I would go in for this! And I think this is a great for early adopters, or just slashers in general. (Plex, for example, offers this).

Please consider adding a life-time subscription.

I’d love to buy this if it helps, but I hate keeping track of tons of subscriptions with a passion and refuse to add more to that list.

I would be much more likely to give this ago for a 1-time “large” fee. Than paying a small amount each month.

Would absolutely, hands down, buy it for a fixed price instead of a subscription

sadly deleted slash today.. I love the app and I’d happily pay $45 or even more for it. But it sooo hard to keep up with subscriptions for every single App I use. I am trying really hard to cut down on subscriptions, and having a subscription for a todo list app (something I’ve never seen a subscription model for before, is a hard sell to me)

I have no problem paying +$100 for Things 3 on my iPhone, iPad and Mac, to avoid this fee, and would happily shell out a fee for Slash as well.

Please consider figuring out what your average revenue for a user is before they churn, and make a lifetime fee based on that data.

I would 100% buy this app as a 1-time fee, even a large fee. But the subscription model is just such a big blocker for me to get onboard with “yet another todo app”

Please let me know if you ever offer a life-time price. I love this app, and the direction it’s going in. I just can’t swallow anymore subscriptions, no matter how “small” they are.

The feeling of $5 dissapearing from my bank account without specifically making a purchase burns me inside. Even if the app is totally worth it.

We have a heavily discounted (38%) annual subscription and offer occasional special offers on top of that, just keep an eye on your inbox. This way you don’t need to keep track of the monthly one and it’s much cheaper.

At the same time, we believe being 2x more productive is worth much more than $5/month :)

I’m not saying it’s wrong, but i actually don’t use Slash for something that actually produces money, i use it to keep track of my personal to do’s at school and personal projects, so maybe we’re not your customer target and that’s alright :) Personally I believe that slash is amazing and I would definately pay for it on a Setapp subscription (I’ve actually requested them to contact you because I believe slash would be a great addition on setapp’s library) but personally I am not able to pay the subscription just yet.

Mark, If I may suggest an alternative, it isn’t as good as Slash is, but check out Monofocus it keeps your current task on a Menubar and syncs with to-do lists, honestly not as cool as Slash as it doesnt have that pomodoro/task reminder window on top of everything but it works just fine.

Anyway, Matt, Keep up the good work, Slash is absolutely good and if someday you offer a lifetime deal or add up to a subscription based app store like setapp i would definately pay for it :) But i believe Slash is on the right track and is absolutely good, there is no alternative just as good as this one :)

Hello,
have the licenses been sent out or activated yet, as I have not received any answer?

@Philipp.vongries same here, sent justine an email 5 days ago but no answer yet.

It may take a bit for them to implement a feature allowing for lifetime subscriptions / activation codes.

But definitely worth waiting for.

I sent her an email w/ my. product hunt nickname. But I haven’t heard back (yet)

Did anyone else hear back?

I have already sent 2 emails (after getting a message on PH), heard nothing back. Starting to get dissappointed with their level of communication to be honest. Did not expect this.
